Pros: Flexible, easy mounting, versatile
Cons: Sometimes doesn't hold position, expensive
Cons: Sometimes doesn't hold position, expensive
This is a great option for cooling memory or other chipsets in an open air tech station or other situation where there isn't direct airflow. The plastic feels a little flimsy but it gets the job done. It mounts using a single screw anywhere you have one so it can mount to a case or motherboard. It has 3 speeds and is quiet enough to not be noticeable. Sometimes the flexible neck doesn't hold the position but if you over bend it slightly, it retracts and doesn't move from that point.
All in all, if you don't have the ability to aim a normal case fan at a location, the SpotCool does a good job.
