Pros: Very big, lot of space, 6 included fans, sturdy

Cons: Price, air filters are hard to clean, not much cable management space

Introduction:

The Antec 1200 is a gaming case. It is very strong, has alot of space, and supports tons of hard drives. However it does have little cable management space, and doesn't support W/C at all.

Review:

This is an excellent case for the air cooler. Having 6 fans, it gets more than enough airflow to stay cool, even in the hottest of places. With the fans on their lowest speeds, it's fairly quiet, however once you turn them up, you might as well buy some earmuffs.

There is no support for water cooling at all, and these days that is a huge disadvantage. Unlike alot of cases now however, it is extremely strong, like, Tank strong. You can stuff 9 hard drives out of the box into this thing, making is great as a server case. Once again though, is only has 7 expansion slots, so don't expect to be using a E-ATX board in this case.

Conclusion:

All-in-all this is a good case from Antec. It is however flawed, and outdated, and I recommend looking elsewhere for a new case.

Switched from a X-clio case to the Antec 1200 and love it. The airflow in the case it unreal. All of my part stay nice and cool for great overclocking.
As for the fan filters they can be a pain to get to but I only use one thumb screw on the plexiglass side to hold the fans in place. Cuts the time down to about 2 min to get all the filters out.
The Antec DF 85 has the same chassis as the 1200 and has doors that swing out to clean the filter.
I would highly recommend this case for anyone looking to have a high airflow case!

Nice review. Bought this case last summer and totally like it. It runs incredibly cool. True story about the hassle accessing the filters, but ten minutes 3 or 4 times a year isn't a big deal.

Only 2 small niggles: As big as this case is, with the Antec H2O 920 liquid cooler installed, the internal rear-mounted radiator prevents adding a fan to the optional slot on the plexiglass window. I wanted this for additional cooling for my GTX580 but it isn't a big deal. The other thing is how loud the front fans are when running full-tilt. Doesn't bother me 'cause I'm usually wearing phones, but I can see how it's annoying for anyone else in the room.
