Pros: Effective single-tower, cool looking, solid construction, RAM clearance, installation

Cons: Only a small pack of thermal compound, fan mounting requires some force

Summary: Scythe Ashura is a large, cool looking, effective and silent cooler. One of the top single tower air coolers. In 4.5 GHz test it outperformed Megahalems Rev. C (with Red Vortex 12 LED) by a staggering 4.5°C. GlideStream 140 PWM fan is silent and powerful. It doesn't make annoying mechanical sound, only at high speed air flow can be clearly heard. However that is to be expected out of fan that pushes nearly 100 CFM. Mounting system is a standard mechanism with brackets+holding bar.
