Great Budget Daily Driver!!!!

review by cdub07

First of all this has been a phenomenal board. The build with this board was super easy did not run into any issues. True plug and play. This board also supports 95w 8-core by default so no firmware updates are necessary to support the AMD's latest and greatest AM3+ CPUs. The bios is not be best but its far from the worst I have ever seen.(Looking @ you ECS) It has your basic info about what is connected to your motherboard and has your basic OCing tabs and selections. I will say this board is probably good for tweaking up to the stock turbo of 4GHz or so but I wouldn't put much more on it.
Then there is SATA 3.0. My Samsung EVO 850 250GB was hitting 530MB/s read & 502 write. Not bad for 3 year old chipset. Moving on next is USB3.0. I only had a USB 3.0 flash drive to test but it was reading 128MB read & 45 write. So all in all it was running as it was suppose to. Overall this a great board if you just use as is or stay when the stock turbo as your base clock.

ProsCons
Lots of connectors, 8 core support, USB3.0, SATA 3.0Suggest only 95w or below,USB 3.0 placement header is ackward, BIOS is flaky when computer OCing fails, not really a lot of OCing options.
