I never knew this is a popular optical drive when I got them...

It was on sale for $15 per... so I got 2 of them in Fall 2010.

Oh well, the performance is generally satisfactory, with no fail disc burner that I recall, not much to complain about.

Great bargain buy!

Sleek flat black faceplate design w/ badges looks good, functions all day every day for burning movies to DVD which i was why I purchased this. I use NERO to burn usually and have never had any issues with this drive. Quite, fast, inexpensive, low vibration technology.

Simple, cheap, still neccesary for now. Plug it in use it 3 times forget its there.

This is a great DVD drive/burner. I have 2 of these and they have yet to fail me. I have made dozens of DVDs and CDs and never had one come out bad.

The looks blend in well with my case and sits flush.

I recommend this burner to anyone who is looking for one.
