Wow, is this sweet or what?

Pros: So many features it will take weeks to use them all.

Cons: I would like to see RED LED lines all over the board.

This Board is beautiful. I was awed when I got it out of the box, the packaging by the way is very nice too, it jumps at you and says overclock me. It has 3 GPU useable PCIE slots and one for add on cards. 16x, 16x + 16x or 16x + 8x +8x. SLI or Xfire. The ROG connect is nice because you can OC everything from a laptop while running monitoring software with no interuptions. The layout is perfect, at least for me with right angle sata headers, 7 4pin fan connectors, plenty of USB 2.0 and 3.0 and so many other connections you really have to read up on it because I don't want to write a book here. AWESOME BOARD!!

Pros: Lighting, Features, USB Ports

Cons: Still no PCIe 3.0 :(

Great board so far, im really loving the lighting and the features of the board. The colors are quite nice as well, the PCB is all black and the PCIe slots are Dark red as well as all the accents. Also it has RMI separation for the audio portion similar to what Gigabyte has been doing! A single Lan slot on this one in contrast to most boards out, but its a positive thing for me since the Intel chip is always better than that LAN Killer one that all of other boards have for the additional port. This thing also has plenty of USB ports which I love! And is has PS2 still which is lame in my opinion.. Now I had to deduct a half of a star because this is the current flagship for AM3+ yet it...

Nice Gaming Motherboard!

Posted

Pros: Can run x16 x16 x8

Cons: Bios can be a bit tricky

Well I bought mine at Micro Center along with a 8350 cpu to update my old fx 6100/ m5a97 motherboard.I can tell you speed wise and gaming performance has gone up ALOT!.... Certin games I play have picked up 40-50 fps But I mainly play older games so you might wanna look into that further~ As far as features go this Motherboard has it all And I would consider this Amd s Flagship motherboard! I run dual Radeon 6970s Refrence design for the time being so keep in mind if you plan to run 2 or 3 cards space may become an issue for you! I dont see a possibility of running tri-fire unless I take off the heatsinks and watercool them, theres just not enough space on the pcie-e lanes to run 3...
