Pros: Runs incredibly cool, quiet, has a backplate, looks great, overclocks decently

Cons: Costs a bit more than reference, but absolutely worth it

For those looking for one of the best air-cooled 780's out there, this is it. Asus improved on a big downside of their high-end DirectCU II coolers which was the triple slot design - this card only takes 2 slots while being just as good (if not better) than MSI, EVGA or Gigabyte's similarly-priced offerings. Looks absolutely gorgeous from both the front and the back, pictures don't do it justice! You'll get an idea of the build quality when you hold the card (has a nice weight to it). As mentioned it has a black backplate with a metal bar/brace which holds the card dead-straight in the PCI slot, so no sag/droop at all. Requires 6pin+8pin power connectors powered by a decent quality 500w+...
