if you're looking at this card for overclocking, you're better off with a reference or reference-based card, this one will get nowhere unless your really lucky and get one that isn't hardware locked, you're forced to use the hotwire feature which the majority of ASUS motherboards don't feature, leaving a trimpot mod as the only option.

my particular sample has an ASIC of 55.4%, stock voltage of 1180mV and will only go as far as a 100MHz bump on the memory, anything else is completely unstable, overall the card barely passes as a 7970, almost every 7950 out there will (and has) run rings around it.

be warned about using GPUTweak too, in my case I will _always_ get zebra-stripes-of-death if I install said software, nevermind even opening it or trying any overclocks, the drivers kill the card.

normal load temps are about 72-75C in games, 80C with bitcoin mining @ 600MH/s.

apparently the dual-link DVI port doesn't work correctly either with dual-link screens, though I haven't had a screen to test it with myself so this may vary...

ProsCons
fairly quiet, but still audible when it heats up, ~40dBno overclocking, gets pretty hot, voltage locked,
