Pros: Overclocking features, Asus Fusion Northbridge Cooler

Cons: No USB3, SATA 6Gb/s Support.

While this board may have seen a successor in the form of the Asus Rampage III Gene, and a handful of 1156, and 1155 younger cousins, the Rampage II Gene is still the best 1366 Micro ATX motherboard available. All of the features of full sized boards of similar vintage are available. There is support for six core processors, SLI, Crossfire, triple channel memory, ICH10R RAID, and a X-Fi branded integrated audio processor (not Creative silicon, but software). The clear advantages the board offers over the Rampage III Gene are eSata support, the LCD poster and a Asus Fusion design- modular NB/Power phase cooling setup. Lots of features, small size.

Pros: Many OC-friendly features, Crossfire/SLI ready, quality components and small size.

Cons: Doesn't sit well in CM Storm Scout.

I had gotten this motherboard in a trade to upgrade from the LGA775 Socket series and it is certainly a great upgrade. With the 2 x16 PCI-e lanes I can run 2 graphics cards in Crossfire or SLI configurations and mATX form factor helps it fit into the smaller cases, though this is where I had some issues. When running this board in a Coolermaster CM Storm Scout, I found that the placement of the SATA ports made it difficult to connect cables when the board was in the case. I liked the placement of an on/off button and others on the bottom of the board a useful feature but have not used them myself. This is a great motherboard for those who need something for serious gaming or overclocking...
