Pros: Easy to o/c in it, stable, reliable, fast

Cons: north bridge issues

i bought this board a long time ago, since there were only first gen i series intel processors. i was able to overclock my i7 950 to 4.5 ghz, but stable at 4.1ghz. the common issue on this board was that the north bridge gets extremely hot. the oem thermal interface material was completely and utterly useless, a big yellow sticker that i removed within the first month or 2 of owning the motherboard the temperature readings were nuts. with the stock crap on it i would idle at around 70 and load in mid 80s. but after replacing that gunk i was able to reduce the load to 60s eventually time passes on and north bridge starts to over heat all of a sudden (one day it just decided to over heat...
