Great Motherboard.

review by caffeinescandal

This motherboard is great. I originally bought this because I was planning to go bulldozer once it releases, but I was (like a lot of you) disappointed with bulldozers performance. I'm currently running an Athlon II X3 unlocked to a Phenom II X4 and it runs great! Overclocking options are easy to find too!

For the hardware, it comes with USB 3.0 and Firewire built in, USB 2.0 and Realtek onboard sound. It comes with one PS/2 port for a keyboard or mouse (only one though). It has 2 fan headers for cpu fans and 4 headers for the chassis fan. All of them are 4 pin. Don't forget SLI and the UEFI bios. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this motherboard.

ProsCons
USB3.0, Firewire, All fan headers are 4PinThe color scheme to some people?

Solid board, brings many options to AMD users.

review by theamdman

Solid Board, based on the 990fx chipset (I thought they might use 990x) more SATA III Ports than I would ever need. Very good slot spacing. A PCI PORT!!! Easy oc options for those who don't know how. TPU-EPU is nice. CeraM!X is nice so the board doen't have to look so bad with Armor on it (Intel)

ProsCons
USB 3.0, Ai-Stuff, CeraM!X, UEFI Bios Digi+ VRMif there is one. it is so insignificant that it doesn't matter.

Great Board... Nothing else to add!

review by slaterec

Great board with many overclocking options. It has your standard I/O ports for a motherboard at this cost in this day and age. That said, I'd looked to the smaller things that one would argue takes this board a notch above the others in this category. For example, the BIOS update was smooth as butter and my most recent build with this motherboard went event free with Win 7 Pro and OCZ Agility 4 (a good thing in our world)! Speaking of BIOS ASUS UEFI BIOS was very impressive, detailed and easy to use. The amount of SATA6 ports, USB ports, and fan connectors was icing on the cake.

Recommend to anyone looking for a great experience, most recent technology for AMD and overclocking options. Even when AMD's new chipset comes out this board will last and allow you to stay relevant for a couple more years, not to mention the cost will decrease even more.

ProsCons
Everything you need for a great price and many OC options!None!

Appropriately titled, this motherboard is a beast

review by xerosnake90

Sabertooth is a motherboard that any overclocker or gamer should base their build around. Incredibly powerful and sturdy, Sabertooth brings a badass look along with its name to dominate the motherboard market. Supporting all the latest cpus, having tons of space for any and all attachments. Handle mass amounts of power by equipping it with a sli gpu setup. Power your incredible cpu as far as your cooling allows you to. Need specs? Forget about it, if you need it this mobo has it!

ProsCons
Sturdy. Looks badass! Great features with no shortage of overclock power. There are none!

Appropriately titled, this motherboard is a beast

review by xerosnake90
i wanted to buy this board( of course in p67 for intal not 990fx for amd). i didnt like that its brown and had only 2x pci-e slots.
of course now with the gtx 6xx series cards performing so well, i dont need the 3rd pci-e slot. beatin my head off a wall for the last 2 months for not buying it. both amd and intel versions are great boards.
