Pros: 2 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x SATA 6.0 ports in one card!
Cons: Potential bottleneck if all 4 ports are in use at the same.
I did miss buying the card in 2010... I got to buy a new one recently.
Partly due to ASUS' poor advertisement on its compatibility for the mobos.
Actually, this card works on ANY mobos that has either a PCIE x4, x8, or x16 slot.
My ASUS PRO Turbo only has two PCIE x16 slots... so I need to sacrifice the black one.
It's not exactly a bargain buy for me... but fair price.
I can now consider buying products with USB 3 or SATA 6 interface, and get close to expected speed.
Let's hope this card will last for years!
P.S. This card interface is running at 5Gbps. Boot in time was around 18 seconds on a freshly installed Windows 7. Now, after a year of use, the boot in time is around 22 seconds.
