I upgraded from a dell 22 wide. I play a lot of games so the TN panel is ok but I also watch a lot of movies so I thought perhaps a IPS would be better. After months or research I went with this monitor. I had also looked at the Benq 24te and the dell ultrasharp 24. Arrived on time from Amazon, no dead pixels no damage. Plugged it in (dvi) and it looked very good. The buttons are in the bottom left of the bezel so you have to feel for them. Presets include movie, games, etc. 2 weeks after purchase I am very happy.
The only downside is that with such a thin neck the monitor shakes when typing or sudden hard movements of the mouse. Not a deal breaker but it is evident and you should be warned. I just put some dvd cases under the bezel and problem was solved.
