Even better then Asus ROG X99 series mobo ASUS X99-E-WS

review by sam66er

I have been using ASUS ROG series MOBO for long time , from X79 to X99 system and giving me the ideal that ROG is superior to other asus mobo.

Recently , due to my 5930k CPU dead chip plus unforeseen circumstance that my ROG Rampage V extreme was destroy. I change to Asus X99-E-WS Mobo. It totally change my mind set toward ROG mobo.

ROG have too many useless function and useless gadget of remote OC pannel that wire is so short that i really don't know how to get it function. Complicated OC parameter that only confuse plp. and the price is not cheap. PCIE not even can provide 16x16x16x16x

For X99-E-WS. At first i though it was a so so mobo. I was wrong. this board blow me up.with 16x16x16x16x. Overclocking simple and much stable then so call ROG offer , example what supremeFX sound. Me ....plug in a creative pcie sound blasterZXR and the supremeFX got to eat my bubbles. Do you really use subzero N2 mode ? sonic radar ? ............????

bench mark is also higher in term of graphic, OC, Raid 0 SSD - Impressive Mobo that break my thinking of ROG superiority.

ProsCons
Reasonable price for a function of multiple PCIE 3 x16 slot. Simplicity of overclocking parameter, stable OC. No integrated WIFI and blue Tooth

Even better then Asus ROG X99 series mobo ASUS X99-E-WS

After a solid month of reading and working up a build in my head, I believe I am set on this board. Hoping it may future-proof me for a few years for when gpus start actually using more than 8xpcie, and if I am silly enough to actually try 3 way or 4 way sli, so I will have full 4x16 support. FYI there is a USB 3.1 refresh of the board if you want the additional support like I do.
