Oustanding enthusiast class tower

review by spacemanspliff

My dad bought a Hurrican 2000 case when he built his current rig 2 years ago, and that led to me buying mine. The 4-230 mm fans (2 side intake and 2 top exhaust) are insanely quiet and push a ton of airflow. It's a very sturdy and tough case, and can accommodate almost any build you would want to make. Plenty of drive bays and excellent SSD/HDD drive cooling with the pair of 120mm fans in the drive enclosure door. There are only 3 small, personal preferences I would like to see different about this case. If you wish to install a top mounted CPU/GPU cooling system, it can be a snug fit over the motherboard and RAM if you aren't comfortable with modifying the tower. I would also like to see the cable routing space behind the motherboard be a little bit deeper (I have large hands and long fingers) and would like to see rubber grommets come installed in the cable routing holes to help protect the wiring.... minor inconveniences that I can't justify docking the case down from a 5 star rating over. The only reason I'm ever going to buy another case is because the next build I do will be exclusively for gaming/overclocking, it will be modded with a high performance GPU/CPU all-in-one cooling system, and it will be an SLI configuration, for which the inverted mobo mount feature of the Genesis 9000 is perfect... All my future general purpose PC upgrades/builds will be in my Hurrican tower as long as it's still working and usable.

ProsCons
Excellent air flow design, great cooling, quiet fans, love the hot swap SATA drives slots, plenty of space for upgrades and expansions.Top mount radiators are snug to fit in, cable routing space behind mobo could be deeper and have rubber grommets.
