Pros: Graphically Dynamic Game, Destructible Environments, Squad Gameplay, Lots of Weapon Unlocks and Customizations

Cons: Long map loading screens, Clunky Web Browser Server Launcher, Weapon & Vehicle Balance/Power Issues, Knifing someone takes to long

Since I have started playing BF3 I have felt as if there has been some balance issues regarding the weapons of the game. This still does not compare to the levels of BF2 but they are on the right track. Once the Back to Karkand expansion comes out I believe there will be many improvements which will give the game better playability.

The reason I gave this game 4/5 flames is due to the sub-par graphics driver optimization on launch. Both Nvidia and AMD should have been better prepared for this and even though it may not be DICE's fault they usually get the blame cause of this. I do not have much experience with all the classes as I have bound myself to playing Recon, why? I have absolutely no idea but I find it fun. It is much more challenging as the levels are not as open as they were in BFBC2 or BF2.

The classes of Battlefield 3 are as followed, Assault, Support, Engineer and Recon. Down below is a brief explanation of what all the classes offer.

Assault
The Assault class takes on the role of the Medic in the team, similar to the Medic class in Battlefield 2, with an assault rifle as a primary weapon yet Medkits and Defibrillators for reviving and healing players, instead of ammunition boxes. Players can also opt for using a grenade launcher instead of some medical equipment however.

Support
The Medic class has been replaced by the Support class from previous Battlefield games. They are equipped with Ammunition boxes and a light machine gun, ideal to suppress opposing players with the new suppressive fire mechanic which causes them to have no health regeneration and debilitating visual effects.

Engineer
The Engineer class retains its functions of Battlefield: Bad Company 2: they are able to fix friendly vehicles and are equipped with a rocket launcher, either an anti-armor or an anti-aircraft launcher, to destroy enemy vehicles. They also equip a submachine gun or carbine, which can have a Tactical flashlight to blind opponents.

Recon
The Recon has also been changed, with the speed of scoping in reduced and requiring players to hold their breath in order to fire an accurate shot. Recon players are equipped with either a bolt action or semi-automatic sniper rifle and C4.

Multiplayer is the biggest hit with the Battlefield Series games, so a review is definitely not complete without explaining the game modes that there are, so next on the list are the wide variety of gameplay options Battlefield 3 offers.
