Pros: No heatshrink, very nice braid quality, looks good, lots of colours available

Cons: price, doesn't fit natively onto your PSU

So, to extend my rig's colour theme (blue-black), I went and got myself some sleeved cable extensions (24-pin motherboard power, 8-pin EPS12V and 2x 6-pin PCIe) from Bitfenix. The EPS12V and PCIe cables were purchased from Specialtech.co.uk and mailed to me, the 24pin one was bought locally. Once I got my hand on them, I couldn't help noticing the very good quality of the braid (which is also reflected in the price, I paid €8.9 for the 24-pin and £30 and a bit, shipping included, for the other ones). Something else I really like is that they have no heatshrink at all, which makes them look really slick in my opinion. what I don't like (though I realise it's a bit hard to make cables that...

Pros: Nicely sleeved, extensions are very long

Cons: White ones show dirty fingerprints

i never thought about using sleeved extensions before. i have always been good with the stock cabling of PSUs in the past. with my most recent build, i decided to try my hand at cable management. i thought i was doing excellent before, with wires not showing or nicely bundled. however, with my AX1200, things got a bit weird. while the cables look great in the shiny black, the sleeving for the main/eps/gpu cables could have been something more. the sleeving was twisted up, and after repositioning wires a few times, the sleeving started to wear. so i bought some extensions, because i was wanting to sleeve cables myself, but have yet to get a kit or 2 for myself. so with Bitfenix cables, i...
