I decided not too long ago that I was interested in purchasing a quality point and shoot so I wouldn't have to lug my DSLR gear around if I wanted to take photos while out and about. After some research (and finding a great pre-Xmas sale on Amazon) I pulled the trigger on the Canon S95. There are so many great things about this camera: Pros: Uses the Digic IV processor - same one found in the Canon 7D / 5D Mk ii / 60D / Current Rebel bodies Compact - fits in my pocket with ease, unlike my old AS590IS lens mounted control ring (function can be changed with the press of a button) in-camera HDR (I actually like this thus far) Face detection (which allows for smile/wink detection for...
