Pros: decent read and write, sata interface, 22x

I bought this on my gaming rig, for practically reading the game disc, and during installation of the OS and few apps, its quite inexpensive and all what I need of a drive burner. I dont need the extra feature as label flash or lightscribe as other have labeled writer, as this disc are quite rare. Black color. Just notice that it really sound in high pitch when reading cd's, I guess a little...

“They cost me twice as the price of my ASUS 24X dvd burners. 2 x ASUS 24X DVD Burner = $30 (Fall 2010) + generally satisfactory results/performance. 2 x Samsung 22X DVD Burner = $60 (Spring 2010) + inconsistent burn speed and some fail disc burns. Samsung are probably the best in making memory, but they sure can't make solid optical drives. I had other Samsung optical drives in the past......” --ocman
