Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz 6 MB Cache Socket LGA1155 Processor

4ghz P95 stable @ stock volts.... 4.5ghz P95 stable @ 1.35v.... what else is there to say....

SRICE4904

Pros: Great overclocker, cheap, runs cool

Cons: Not hyper Threaded

I think my summary sums it up lol forgive the pun but I couldn't have been more happy with the overclocking performance of this CPU. 4ghz at stock volts Prime95 stable?!? Only 1.35 vcore required for 4.5 ghz Prime95 stability?!? I never thought it could be this easy to get amazing performance out of a inexpensive cpu. Oh and I bought my 2500K on ebay with a ASUS P8Z77-V mobo, Patriot G2...

Intel Core i7-4790K Processor- BX80646I74790K

Pros: Super fast in both multi-threaded and single-threaded tasks. Idles extremely cool. Strangely cool in fact, but in a good way.

Cons: Not quite the OC'er Intel wanted us to think it was. But has 4.0 stock & 4.4GHz boost, so that's ok. Runs warm when OC'ed.

Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor 2.4GHz FCPGA946 47 W Mobile Processor

“The i7 4700MQ is the mobile Haswell "entry level, quad core of the high end product family" Its a bit of a mouth full if your new to the mobile space, so I will break down that statement as best I can. First off, i7 does NOT automatically denote a quad mobile chip, as there are i7 Dual core variants that have hyperthreading, slightly higher clocks (compared to i5's) and typically a slightly...” --TheReciever

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz 6 MB Cache Socket LGA1155 Processor

“ Loving this guy. I traded in my AMD 955 BE @ 4.0 in for the i5 2500k. Its a nice little boost in performance, take into account the price you can get them for its pretty nice. OC's VERY high. Hit 4.7Ghz EASY! For years I have only done AMD based builds due to price point, but am glad to say that my first experience with intel in years looks to be a great one! I would recommend this CPU to...” --KhaoticKomputing

Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E 3.6GHz LGA 2011

Intel Core i7-3820 Sandy Bridge-E 3.6GHz LGA 2011

“Having never overclocked on LGA 2011, it was surprisingly easy. I looked to my good friends here at www.Overclock.net for overclocking advice and it was easy as pie I don't know of others experience with this processor overclocked but with a simple BCLK ajustment of +20 I reached 4.4 ghz stable @ 1.33 vcore with everything set on auto! Granted I would be able to get that down with some...” --SRICE4904

AMD A4-3300 APU with AMD Radeon 6410 HD Graphics 2.5GHz Socket FM1 65W Dual-Core Processor - Retail (AD3300OJGXBOX)

“At 2.5GHz dual-core CPU with a discrete class iGPU, this APU is tough to beat in terms of overall value. The CPU is great for general computing like internet browsing, emails, apps, productivity applications, HD videos/movies, music, and even some gaming. Multi-tasking is actually pretty good with this APU as long as you pair it with good RAM. By all means it's not meant to be a gaming APU,...” --newbiegeekie

“Gotta love ppl not real 8 cores when in fact it is it's a 4 modules cpu with 2 cores in each modules that share resources get over it it's a 8 core and AMD came out with it first now Intel will come out with one. Mine OC great runs well with a h212 OC n the winter with push n pull but really loves to be on water when room temp is hot. At 4ghz my h212 had no problems even when my room had no AC...” --STRATUSRT02

“[Here's the review I wrote over at the Egg where I bought it. I thought the review really belonged here where it might actually be read by like minds. Testing was initially done with a Arctic Freezer 64 Pro with a rear fan added for push-pull, on Arctic Silver 5 paste. This of course proved inefficient and ineffective, so in went a Corsair h100i 240mm liquid cooler and Tuniq TX-4 paste.] This...” --Anthropolis

Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4 GHz 8 MB Cache Socket LGA1155 Processor

“I originally bought an Intel i5 2500K, however I ended up buying this for the increased performance in multi-core applications (such as After Effects, Photoshop, and 3DS Max). It also supports VT-D, which is another huge plus for me. The idle temp is very low (34C with stock cooler), and my load temp has never passed 65C. The stock cooler is so effective, I don't see the need to ever buy an...” --rjackowens
