Intel Core i5-2500K 3.3 GHz 6 MB Cache Socket LGA1155 Processor

4ghz P95 stable @ stock volts.... 4.5ghz P95 stable @ 1.35v.... what else is there to say....

SRICE4904

Pros: Great overclocker, cheap, runs cool

Cons: Not hyper Threaded

I think my summary sums it up lol forgive the pun but I couldn't have been more happy with the overclocking performance of this CPU. 4ghz at stock volts Prime95 stable?!? Only 1.35 vcore required for 4.5 ghz Prime95 stability?!? I never thought it could be this easy to get amazing performance out of a inexpensive cpu. Oh and I bought my 2500K on ebay with a ASUS P8Z77-V mobo, Patriot G2...

Intel Core i7-4790K Processor- BX80646I74790K

Pros: Super fast in both multi-threaded and single-threaded tasks. Idles extremely cool. Strangely cool in fact, but in a good way.

Cons: Not quite the OC'er Intel wanted us to think it was. But has 4.0 stock & 4.4GHz boost, so that's ok. Runs warm when OC'ed.

Intel Core i7-4700MQ Processor 2.4GHz FCPGA946 47 W Mobile Processor

“The i7 4700MQ is the mobile Haswell "entry level, quad core of the high end product family" Its a bit of a mouth full if your new to the mobile space, so I will break down that statement as best I can. First off, i7 does NOT automatically denote a quad mobile chip, as there are i7 Dual core variants that have hyperthreading, slightly higher clocks (compared to i5's) and typically a slightly...” --TheReciever

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ Eight-Core Desktop Processor

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz (4.0GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ Eight-Core Desktop Processor

“Unlike what most Intel advocates say, the FX-8320 (and the FX line of CPUs in general) is a great CPU, especially for the price you can get one at. I've had mine for 7 months now and I am impressed at the amount of overall performance it gives. If I was to put a nice closed loop cooler, and some good RAM, I could get to overclocking this bad boy, but for now it'll have to wait. But even at...” --an65001

AMD FX-8350 8-Core Processor 4.0GHz Socket AM3+ FD8350FRHKBOX

“Gotta love ppl not real 8 cores when in fact it is it's a 4 modules cpu with 2 cores in each modules that share resources get over it it's a 8 core and AMD came out with it first now Intel will come out with one. Mine OC great runs well with a h212 OC n the winter with push n pull but really loves to be on water when room temp is hot. At 4ghz my h212 had no problems even when my room had no AC...” --STRATUSRT02

Intel Core i7-4790K Processor- BX80646I74790K

“I have to say that overall I am extremely pleased with my i7 4790k purchase and it's performance. It is so incredibly fast, and is actually just a hair shy of a $500 i7 3930k in most tasks which says a lot. That really is a big deal for a $300 proc. The 4790k idles strangely cool, in the low 20's (C) with my Corsair H80i, and is about 8-10C cooler than an i7 4770k at idle all things being...” --hapkiman

Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz LGA 1150 Quad-Core Desktop Processor

“ I'm going to put a summary here and put the in depth stuff in the link later on. Haswell IS on average, faster than Ivy or Sandy Bridge once you factor in the IPC improvements. I assume you're overclocking. The results vary a lot as the amount of voltage required at a clock varies a lot. It is truly a lottery more than ever with this one. Haswell can tolerate a bit higher temps than older...” --Darkwizzie
