Metro: Last Light - Standard Edition

One of the finest shooters ever made

boredgunner

Pros: More ambitious in storytelling than any shooter I've encountered, great gunplay/stealth/survival mechanics, very atmospheric

Cons: Plot can seem a bit convoluted at times, doesn't always flow as well as the original

Metro 2033 is one of the greatest FPS games ever made. Although not usually recognized as such, due to the horrible state the gaming industry is in, it succeeds largely on its storytelling, atmosphere, intense gameplay, and attention to detail. Last Light is even more ambitious than the first, taking the story to new levels, increasing the scale and exploration of the game, improving gameplay...

guild-wars-2

Pros: The variety of play style

Cons: Got bored of it.

The best team FPS ever? The best shooter I've played since the 90's classics, even better than CS to me.

MAG Playstation3 Game SONY

Pros: Massive Action ( 256 players ), incredible objective system, incredible team play, incredible scale, incredible skill tree.

Cons: The biggest cons of this game have nothing to do with the game, more the hardware. 24 FPS, but just imagine it on PC.

Uncharted is a rinse and repeat series that you can't go wrong with.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Pros: Great story, great voice acting, great movie like action, and great 3rd person mechanics.

Cons: 10-12 hour campaign. It has good MP though.

SimCity - Standard Edition [Download]

SimCity - Standard Edition [Download]

“This game aspect is nice by itself, but the always online DRM, bugs and undersized regions are more than enough to ruin your experience completely. This game might be fun for Simcity fans, but the traffic and water systems are broken that makes the game nearly unplayable. If you still want to get this game, I'd suggest you to wait until EA fix the bugs.” --honam1021

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army [Online Game Code]

“Hey Guys, So with the zombie apocalypse that is apparently coming with all the bath salts ( the dang soothing bathes is what caused this) I thought it would be a good time to do a review on Sniper Elite's Nazi Zombie Army. This game is undoubtedly fun ( who DOESN'T like watching heads implode in slow-mo?) but it leaves a bit for the story. So here we go: Sniper Elite rose from the PS2 with a...” --TokiHacker

Battlefield 3 Standard Edition Playstation3 Game EA

Battlefield 3 Standard Edition Playstation3 Game EA

“In 2011, Battlefield 3 was released. It was an amazing game, and it still is! Today, I though I might as well play the game again. I play my story as Sgt. Blackburn, a soldier in the year 2014. Together with my squad I have to search for another, missing, squad. It sounds simple, but it turns out to be a really complicated mission. Welcome in Tehran, Iraq. The power of visuals - Visuals To...” --AverageNinja

Cryostasis

Cryostasis

“It's no secret that Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason was promoted mostly for its innovative usage of PhysX. With the patch, the physics effects really are amazing, but there's actually an interesting game underneath its visual effects. Cryostasis takes place among a stranded nuclear icebreaker called "North Wind". You play as Alexander Nesterov, assigned to investigate the remains of the wrecked...” --boredgunner

Crysis Warhead PC

Crysis Warhead PC

“I played Crysis 1 and Warhead back to back before Crysis 3 came out. I must say although Crysis 1 starts off rather strong the end of the game was painfully boring and tedious. This game had a much better pace, and much more enjoyable fights with Aliens than Crysis 1. I also thought the character had far more of a connection than Nomad, since he talked. Maybe it was just me but this game also...” --DoomDash

Rage

“Having played a little over 12h30 of the single player campaign, I think I'm qualified to share my thoughts on the game. I've been playing games made by id Software since the days of Commander Keen and Wolfenstein 3d, and I've spent some quality time over the years playing games either made by or published by id Software. And judging by all the accolades RAGE got from it's E3 preview, it looked...” --tpi2007

Duke Nukem Forever

Duke Nukem Forever

“I think whether or not you enjoy Duke Nukem Forever comes down to your attitude going into it. Do you expect it to be something amazing since they spent so much time working on it? Or do you expect that it was going to feel like an old, uninspired, plagued with development issues game that barely saw the light of day? If you sound more like the latter then I think you might thoroughly enjoy...” --DoomDash
