Corsair A70 Great contender
Pros: Powerful/cheap/Quiet/Soild built/Great customer service/looks nice in the case
Cons: Cant think of any :P
I was in need of a new cooler as my Artic pro 7 push pins broke and it wasnt making proper contact on the CPU there for not giving full cooling performance leading to higher than normal temps.
After looking around the market and having a look at the obvious CoolerMaster Hyper 212+ and other alt's I seen this corsair cooler which I never seen before, After doing some research on the product and seeing all the amazing reviews and awards its received and it only being £30 incl postage I decided to purchase it.
After getting it in the post I was amazed at how much bigger it was compared to the Pro 7 and how nice it looked without the fans on, how solid it felt in my hands.
After getting the fans out of their box it took less than 5 seconds to install them as it was a simple click on to get them both installed and the same for the backplate.
After getting it installed using the thermal compound in the box I have to say I am more than impressed with another great product from corsair my temps on my Q6600 have dropped from 50oc load to around 36oc full load.
You cant say better than that even when it was water cooled it was around the same.
If you get the chance to buy one of these dont pass it up!
