Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50 All in One High-performance CPU Cooler CWCH50-1

This isn't too much of a bargain buy for me... since I got this during its introductory stage... oh well... sucker me.

It does perform well, but just not as well as the premium air coolers or the real liquid coolers.

I've seen/heard users said having 1-3 degrees drop with push/pull fans setup (even replacing the stock fan). But I've never done it as there isn't enough space to install another fan in my NZXT Gamma Classic Mid-Tower. But there are ways to workaround that though.

I didn't follow Corsair's recommendation to install the fan to pull fresh air in, but just push air out due to available space in my mid tower. Again, there is a way to workaround that too.

It's pretty much maintenance free except the fan and the rad needed to be cleaned every once a while to maintain optimal temps.

I've replaced the stock TIM (Shin Etsu) with IC Diamond 7 ($15 for a small tube ) after installing my replacement mobo from ASUS. I saw at best 1 degree Celsius drop in idle temp... Oh well.

got a used one, still working great. runs cool and quiet! Simple and worry-free water cooling!

This system is absolutely fantastic, not much else to be said.
It helps get new water cooling users into the water cooling world and provides a potential moddable item for those who don't like anything stock.
Thankfully I never had to use the warranty, but from what I hear, Corsair has gone above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to this item. For the 1 in a million chance that it leaks on your equiptment, Corsair has and will replace anything that it fries!

The unit has decent cooling capabilities and comes stock with FANTASTIC thermal paste. IF you don't want a giant Hunk of metal hanging off your motherboard (air cooling) then this solution will give you close to the same cooling capabilities as the best air cooler while keeping the form factor small and the cool points high

After having it for a few weeks, you may find (like I did) that it is hard to resist the modding bug when looking at this thing. If you can shell out an extra 30-40 bucks you can pick up a small resevoir (swiftech microres v2) and some 1/4" ID hosing from home depot and make your own "custom" water cooling loop!

Had it set up on my Sig Rig, with Yate Loon High Speed Silents in Red LED flavor. Used the stock fan as a fan shroud after hacking out the fan hub and mounted it up in the top of my 932. Good temps year round.

I miss my H50. But I sold it so I could go custom Loop which will someday be finished.

I got it new from Newegg when I bought the sig rig.

The RAD needs to be cleaned of dust every once and a while to ensure it is working at its highest potential.
