Pros: Quiet, reliable, good design, efficient

Cons: Expensive

+ Very quiet - even under full load + Very reliable - ran >600W for over a year, and it's worked flawlessly + Design fits well with almost any case + 80 PLUS Bronze (always >85% efficiency) - Very expensive! Bought for 66 euros, may not be suitable for budget builds

New V3 CX Series Hits the Spot

If you need a good solid power supply you should be perfectly fine to not look any further than the Corsair CX Series. The new V3 versions have been improved nicely since V2. The caps have been improved and the efficiency has been greatly improved from standard 80plus To 80Plus Bronze. The CX600 has greatly improved power on the 12v Rail, Coming From 40amps and 480watts with the V2,, To 46amps and 552watts on the 12v rail on the new V3 version. The Corsair CX600 is a wonderful unit especially for its price range. It is perfect for the average gaming build. I use mine with a i5 750 with a GTX-650-Ti, I was going to get the CX500 unit but instead I got the CX600 So I can upgrade next year...
