Excellent power supply!

review by bavarianbeast
I wouldn't trust a 750W PSU with 3-way SLI unless you used a <65W CPU and/or had plans to upgrade your PSU in a couple years.

It would be great if the Letc caps aren't exist on this psu

review by thesuperegoist

For this PSU, it's kinda great if you want your pc silence. But the cables aren't that easy to bent and the caps are Letc, corsair should use some better caps like nichicon if the psu is run in passsive mode. Also the PFC/PWM controller should be better 'cos the controller is pretty common in bronze PSU. Should be replaced to be a better controller that is common in gold PSUs (i purchase it by using 960HKD)
First, the psu's caps are bad, they really can't afford high temps. for a long time because they aren't quality caps. Second, the fan kicks in only when the psu is really hot, this may cause the psu died easily because of the low quality caps aren't suppose to stay in a hot place for too long. Third, NO digital Corsair link in the psu makes the sofware can't take full control of the psu. But adding a digital corsair link will rise the price.

ProsCons
high efficiency, 5 year warranty, nice looks and finish, fully modular, low ripple at +12Vcables are stiff, there are letc caps on the daughterboard, the fan engages rather late, and a lot of......
