Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3

Pros: Fast, good looks, heat sink

Cons: Hard to get to 800MHz, does get in the way of some of the larger CPU heatsinks

Very good RAM sticks from Corsair. They come with a nice black heatsink, which makes them look 'mean'. I did have a little problem with trying to get the RAM sticks to run at their rated speed stably, and i had to take one of the heat sinks off one of the DIMMs to make way for a large cooler. Other than that I think they're very good sticks and I would recommend them to anyone.

Pros: Very cheap, works flawlessly, integrated heat-spreaders, fast speed, good overclockability.

Cons: Tall head-spreaders might interfere with large cpu coolers, green PCB (nitpicking here)

I bought this kit for my desktop in December 2010, and another 16GB more a couple months ago. The first time around, these worked like a champ. No problem what-so-ever. The headspreaders seem like a bit of a gimmick, but I cannot attest to how effective they really are. The second time around when I bought 16 more, my computer wouldn't boot. All I had to do was press the "Mem-Ok!" button my motherboard (ASUS feature) and it pushed them down to the lowest speeds. Jumped into the bios and set them back...
