Pros: MX Red swithches, blacklighting, wristrest

Cons: Not all keys mechanical

When first deciding on which switch to get I was mainly looking at the MX Blues and the MX Reds.

The Blues felt awesome but the noise was a killer for me.

MX Reds it was.

The MX Reds have a tactile feel and are very easy to press.

The K90 comes with great Cherry MX Red switches, each individually backlit, giving it an awesome glow not only during the night but also during daytime.

The LED glow can be adjusted to 33%. 66%, or full 100% glow.

The only thing that Corsair did wrong in my opinion was not making all of the keys mechanical.

Luckily I do my research so I knew that the 18 macro keys, the F1-F12, and the Insert, Detele, Home, End, Page Up and Down keys aren't mechanical.

Overall the keyboard looks great though, the brushed aluminum gives it a sleek look, the multimedia keys can come in handy and the volume adjuster is just great.

I haven't played around with macros much but I presume they will work just fine.

The keyboard spots built in memory so the macros will be saved even in the case of windows reinstall.

There is also an option to disable the windows key which can come in handy for gaming.

The wrist rest spans across the whole keyboard and gives it a comfortable feel.

I do however find it somewhat challenging to type quickly and accurately, but I hope this will improve as I get used to the keyboard.

I would recommend the keyboard for gaming, but if you are looking to type, perhaps look into the MX Browns.

I love this keyboard and do not really mind that all keys are not mechanical since I do not but rarely touch them a few times a day.
