Bad stick, it happens.

review by the overclocker

I was having nonstop issues, crashes, bsod, you name it. Everything would be fine and then things would crash, then everything, then a BSOD. Memory tests showed it was fine.

I think it was an overheating issue. It would be fine, and get progressivly worse. Than windows would stop so it didn't get fried.

Many reviews on other sites say that there are alot of DOA's. It seems to be true. Even better, this was my first PC build.

ProsCons
Fast, Nice Heatsinks (When they work), CorsairGot a bad stick, very high Bad:Good ratio

I stopped using basically every type of memory that is availible from microcenter (corsair, kingston, etc.) i go with G.Skill or mushkin now... waiting on my muskin right now but i have a bad PSU i fried so its either RAM or PSU... sucks man. 3rd build for me and seems like you cant buy ANYTHING without it being DOA. onlythings that werent DOA were the FX-8120 and ASUS Sabertooth 990FX.

To me Corsair has lost their touch...
