Pros: Simple game, no perks or death streaks or anything to help out newbies, yet simple enough that anyone can play it.

Cons: Few things still need patching, hit reg tends to derp at times just like CSS.

Being the decent CSS player I was, I was able to pretty much own everyone in every game due to the fact the mechanics are pretty similar to source, not only that but this felt new and fresh over CSS, so far I have 75 hours or so logged and for $15 who can complain, sure some things from CSS are not here but that can be resolved with future patches.

For some reason my mouse USED to work in CS:GO, but now it doesn't. Good game apart from that.
That's a really odd glitch, I'm sure it can be fixed though.
I switched over to PC from console control gaming about 4 years ago. Was using a Fragnstein controller with PC games cause the keyboard was a little hard for me (i dont really anymore i much prefer the keyboard), i just use it when my wrist starts cramping up. I loved source after i figured out the hit detection. Maybe just me but i think it's harder to kill in CS :Go then CS source. I'll play GO for a while and switch over to Source and play a deathmatch game in ice world and completely whoop ass. CS GO hit detection is random at times but when i get 1 hit kills 4 times in a row immediately im called a hacker. Most of the weapons have the same spray pattern as source (why i love this game, technically have to study the spray pattern not just plain shooting) but it just seems really weird trying kill someone in GO. Almost like say when i play Source alot of the time it's presure tapping when firing. 1 to 2 or slow burst more accurate. Everyone is use to COD run and gun and BF3 seems to heading down that round as well but it seems like tapping for 1 to 2 quick bursts on certain weapons will get overpowered by button mashing spraying all over the place.
CS:GO is a great game for $15.
I was going to buy when it had cross-platform functionality with the PS3, but since Valve cut it out I lost interest in the game. To me it's just a $15 HD texture pack.
I have 2 friends who bought the game - one love it, one hate it. I tried the beta and it was very buggy. Not bugs that broke or exploited the game, but bugs that made pro-long playing very frustrating. I will pick this up when they update the game.
illLoGiQ, it is harder to kills in CS:GO as they made the hit boxes smaller. Overall I love the game, and it is worth every penny spent on it :3 Definitely recommend to anyone in to PC shooter games.
@Rotsae Trust me the game is solid right now, no bugs at all.
