Creative 30SB088200000 SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium Sound Card

I bought this to replace a Creative Platinum EX because Creative dropped support on all non x-fi cards. I was not disappointed. This card has amazing sound and provides the best possible gaming experience one can have. I enjoy watching films with it and listening to music is a pleasure.

The card has good ASIO capabilities and when I use ASIO in MixMeister I can truly take things to the next level. I have had no hardware issues with it and all the jacks work fine. The only let down of this card is it's drivers. Creative has a tendency of writing very poor drivers. Don't get me wrong, once they work, the card is very enjoyable but when you start having issues like certain effects will not apply or the audio control panel will not load, etc, then the only way to fix it properly is to format the whole computer. I have endured also failed updates which wrecked my whole system.


Highly recommended if you want to move up from onboard sound. They are very cheap nowadays and you can find them on eBay without any problems.

I bought this card to replace my on board audio which was having major issues. Compared to my on board audio this card is just excellent. It has CMSS 3D which makes it so if your in a game or listening to music you hear different sounds from different directions so you can tell where your enemies are if you play shooting games allot.

For just plain music use it is still a great card. This is a great card for the price.
