fast read speeds. lackluster write speeds but great for a gaming drive where reads matter the most.
review by orlfman
I bought this ssd for its super fast read speeds. I'm not going to be doing much writes since its only going to house my gaming library. Read speeds is what matters and this ssd far excels in that. Plus 250mb a second write speeds blow away any mechanical hard drive in existence. 240gb of disk space, I'm getting about ~480mb a second reads, fantastic reliability and stability all for about $120? It's an amazing deal
Pros
Cons
fast read speeds. mlc. stable controller and fantastic reliability.
write speeds could be faster compared to other ssds on the market
great review bro, I thought about getting this SSD as well but I may end up jumping on the bandwagon and getting a 840 EVO 250gb instead cause everyone's got a samsung SSD
