CRYSIS 2 is really a new direction that 'CRYTEK' is moving in with the look & feel of this game. The motion of the shooter is so fluid you feel like your actually walking or running. As I stated in the 'CONS' of this game; which really isn't a CON. You 'NEED' a good running system to have this game play well.. That sure isn't anything new to anyone that has played the Crysis series.

The Single-player campaign is very exciting once you get the feel of the controls. The visuals of this game I just can't stop talking about for the fact they are just so beautiful. The multi-player is just as good. Several game types to choose but were do you find most people playing in; YUP, "TDM"..(TeamDeath Match).. Again, the visuals of the this game are just 'Mind-Blowing'.... If your a 'CRYSIS' fan... It is a must buy!!!!thumb.gif

Cons: not as open as previous installement, bad support from Crytek

It's very great game, that's very underrated.

The Good:
- graphics are top notch, and a definite step from stock Crysis 1. The textures, lighting and tessellation are very impressive.
- soundtrack is great; I usually don't praise game soundtracks, but Hans Zimmer did a truly great job here
- SP story is captivating, and lengthy enough, although admittedly, it does begin slowly and later picks up a fast pace
- MP is fun, although it feels like a mix of COD and Halo;
- Great gameplay; the many weapons, perks and armor modes allow for a various tactics, which can result in nearly endless hours of MP

The Bad:
- The game is not as open as Crysis and Warhead, and this is natural since it takes place in a city and not a jungle.
- Crytek did not support the game properly, there have been no updates in the last several months, and the MP is currently plagued by bots.

Pros: Fun story mode,great graphics with/without patches

Cons: multiplayer is too fast paced, not alot of weapons, no tactics

I really think this is a fun game (story) but when it comes to multiplayer it becomes more of COD, its very fast paced, not a large selection of weapons, would you recommend the game to others? only if its on sale.

Troubleshooting/Known Issues:

Other User's of the game have had trouble trying to register CRYSIS 2. 

TIP: After registering your Account at http://www.MyCrysis.com Close your explorer, IE, Chrome, Safari, Ect.

And clear your cookies out. Then go back to Web site and register your game... Worked for me!!

 

 

How To:

Make sure you install the DirectX patch first, then install the 'High Res texture' patch second. Make sure you have at least '1' gig of memory on your V-card. << 'THIS IS A MUST'!!!!!!!
