With the announcment in 2008 of Diablo 3 officially coming out I went back to Diablo 2 to try out the latest patch that was released for it. Diablo II is one of those rare games that people are still playing, over 10 years later. Improving almost everything from it's predecessor, Diablo II is one of those rare games where everything comes together well. The game is fun from the moment you start, to when you fully beat hell difficulty, and even to just replay hell difficulty with the same character over and over to try and get the best items. The expansion set is probably not optional in this day and age. Without the LOD expansion, you are limited to 640x480 resolution. The expansion increases that to 800x600. While still abysmal by todays standards, the 800x600 res is a lot more passable, and increases the view distance. Also...
