Pros: One of the top preforming blocks

Cons: Nickle plating drama

I bought this block when it was top dog and still use it today. The block preforms very well and the price at the time was reasonable.

The nickel plating incident really ruined the reputation of EK and I probably would look else where from now on for blocks. I love the design and enjoyed the product, which is supposedly fixed now) but I got burned and there is stiff competition in the market so the way they handled the issue is what put me off on the company as a whole.
EK Supreme HF Full Nickel
Description:

EK-Supreme HF universal water block for all socket CPU's has been designed for the hardest enthusiast user. The base plate is made of electrolytic copper lapped and polished to +/- 0,0007 mm flatness. The top is made of copper as well for a full copper block of raw cooling power! The EK-Supreme cooling engine uses fin design. The water accelerates through thin jet plate channels through 49 very thin channels, which gives extreme cooling surface. The copper base is also very thin, which gives very short distance for temperature to transfer from CPU to water.
