Great 120mm Fan for Under $15
Pros: Good Build Quality, Great Wire Length, Adapter Included
Cons: Silver Wires, Strange Adapter
I just picked this fan up from Fry's and straight out of the box I am fairly impressed with it having a $13 price point. The round part of the chassis is made from aluminum and the Enermax logo is laser cut on all 4 sides, the LEDs boldly reveal the logos. The LEDs are the right brightness and are a deep blue, but this fan also comes in a red variant.
The best thing about this fan is that the blades are designed so that they can be removed from the housing for either lubrication or cleaning without hassling with that tiny little C-clip!!!
Both the packaging for the red and blue are the same, but what is confusing is that the packaging is purple, but the color is indicated on the package, so there really is not a huge issue there.
As for noise, it is faintly noticeable on molex, and very quiet on a case fan header, the box says 14dBa, which is probably at low RPM.
Do I recommend this product?
Yes, I really like this product and would have to give it 4.5/5 flames.
Note: You can probably get this product for under $10 if you purchase it online!
