Unchallenged in price/performance.

A great power supply that delivers as promised for a price that is unmatched currently on the market.
Really good reviews from jonnyguru and the like in terms of power output and build quality.
Manufactured by Super Flower for EVGA the PSUs are almost identical to SF Leadex. Almost = EVGA is cheaper, has all Japanese capacitors and 10 year warranty, minus the backlit connectors.

Fan can be turned into ECO mode where it will run only when temperature inside PSU reaches a threshold and will stop again when temperature drops.
Without CF/SLI it's not possible to spin the fan up in ECO mode because the load stays under 50% of PSUs power capacity.
Fan runs quiet when in operation.

Cables are longer than Seasonic G series and easier reach top of the motherboard.

No weird noises produced by the PSU, no whining, no squealing. Something I had to return two Seasonic G series PSUs for, it was unbearable and disappointing for their price and reputation.

Production, design and package quality are great, IMHO better than the Seasonic G series I have tried before.
My only negative experience was a piece of solder in the PSU that was rattling inside upon receive, had to turn the PSU upside down and shake the piece of solder blob out before plugging it in.
So the production line could be cleaner for sure.

Otherwise no objections which is quite rare for me.

From me it's a

Recommended for it's price/performance ratio, both performance in output quality, output strength and quietness.

Only similar PSUs that come to my mind are Corsair RM series and they have their own issues and cost more.

ProsCons
Output quality, fanless mode with fan running only when needed at high outputs and temperatures, fully modular long and sleeved cables.QC could be better.

It is a solid PSU at a very good price - right now it is handling two 780's folding at full load plus a 4790K doing the same. I probably don't want to do that long term since there has to be around 700 watts plus being demanded but so far, so good. I have a 1200 Watt Silverstone Strider PSU that is a potential insert but its' reputation is nowhere near the one the EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 has already carved out.

Thanks for the review (btw, no solder rattling in my PSU - so QC needs to be tightened up a bit but then how will that be accommodated and still have the great price point (more staff for the increased QC equals more bucks for the hardware!)
