FrozenQ 250mm Liquid Fusion V Series Reservoir

Pros: Looks Cool

Cons: Terrible Customer Service

Purchased the FrozenQ 250mm Liquid Fusion V Series Reservoir in July, 2011. Around mid- December, 2011, we noticed the base was leaking from hair-line cracks. We only use pure H20 in our system. Contacted Frozen Q and sent them pictures of the cracks, and asked for a replacement part. They agreed but never sent it. I followed up with multiple e-mails, all were ignored. Finally gave up and replaced with a different system.

I would never do business with this company again.

Pros: Amazing looking, can be custom made to order, CCFL not too bright

Cons: WC loops need maintenance, not cheap

I bought mine directly from FrozenQ. He is a great artisan and will work with you on orders and if you were to ever have problems. Fast responses and very down to earth.

My reservoir was the earlier model(Gen 5 is the current model with removable caps) I bought when he came out with the new model. I bought it at a discount knowing it was an older model. Still, I am very happy, and have not had any problems so far. I am looking forward to buying the new model with custom added side ports.

Performance wise, all reservoirs do the same thing. They actually do not add any performance, just make it easier to maintain your loop. But this once is the only reservoir I would say that it actually looked good, and it looks better than good. Pictures dont do it justice.

Will be buying another one!
FrozenQ 250mm Liquid Fusion V Series Reservoir
Description:

A successor to the Liquid Chaos reservoir, the Liquid Fusion reservoir is the inverse alternative. With this reservoir, the coolant flows around the helix in the high quality polycarbonate cylinder, as opposed to having it flow directly though the helix. The helix is made of high quality fluorescent cast acrylic rod that comes in four different colors. The helix is illuminated beautifully by a powerful 8” (20cm) UV cold cathode that is completely sealed away from the coolant. Lighting switch and inverter not included. The Liquid Fusion reservoir has as single inlet and dual side ported outlets located on the bottom of the reservoir. The top has a fill-cap to make filling the system simple as possible. Note the included Cathode bulb in the reservoir does not come with an inverter so you must have a Cathode inverter already to plug the bulb into. You may optionally order a dual port cathode inverter kit below, with or without cable sleeving installed. Any type of coolant may be used in this reservoir, as clear, dyed, and UV reactive coolants all look absolutely stunning around the helix.
