I bought this RAM with folding in mind. 8GB is a no-brainer nowadays, with memory prices being so cheap, and CAS 9 latency is mid-range. I've tried to OC this ram to 2133Mhz at CAS9, but no matter the volts, it wouldn't be stable. I probably need to loosen my timings to achieve the OC, but really and truly, the effect would be negligible.
This RAM is binned 1600mhz RAM of the same flavor, but factory OC'd and tested to 1866 on stock clocks. I bought mine on a Newegg blowout special, so the price to performance is good. I would recommend this RAM, but if you are folding, try and find a good 2133mhz kit when they go on sale.
my 1600mhz kit hits 2000+ mhz on 10-11-10-27 on 1.675v
