Pros: Low voltage, high performance, stays cool.

Cons: Too easy to dislodge heat spreaders

As a former OCZ and Supertalent owner, I must say that this rather inexpensive 8gb set is worth every penny. Although I dislodged the heat spreaders inserting the dimms the first time around, once they were installed correctly they operated perfectly first time around. My mobo defaulted the set to 1600, so on the second go around at 1866 I ran IBT on "very high" for ten rounds. Not a single hiccup! The 1.5 volt 9-11-11 set was barely warm to the touch all the way through this first run. At "max" I was happy I had spent an extra 15 bucks for a ram cooling fan attachment but the temps never got so hot that I could not maintain physical contact.

This set has been easily OC'd at 2000 mHz on my CHV platform, working together with an AMD 1090t at first, and now an FX-8150 - and the label states, "designed for intel!"

I am extremely pleased with this set from G. Skill. I have never raised the voltage past its default 1.5v, and has handled everything I've thrown at it with zero memory related errors. For the price, you're getting a great deal. Solid. Dependable. Able to take heavy loads for long periods. Definetely two thumbs up!
