G430 Gaming Headset - Black

review by marcatomdrummer

This is the worst "Gaming" headset I've ever had.

Let me explain you why you shouldn't buy Logitech products anymore and why this one is the worst that they ever sold.

I live in Argentina, a country with an awful economy, the prices for hardware are high, this one being 800$+ in my currency, which is alot.

I payed for these headsets being the cheaper and what I thought the most decents I could afford, after seeing a few reviews that by the way, did never show the problems it had.

The headset has been having an awful issue for over 3 years, and Logitech does not only not provide support because all the time their website is either down or they refuse to support you.

The problem I'm talking about I believe is software related.

Whenever you use this headset for gaming, (I've only tested it in CS:GO, ArmA 3, TERA and League of Legends) and you may use or not a 3rd party communication software like Ventrilo, Raidcall or TeamSpeak, the sound will go on an off, until you can't talk or hear anything in game and in the software you are using.
For example, I'm playing ArmA 3, and I go into teamspeak, suddenly, the sound goes off for 2 seconds, then I have sound in TeamSpeak but no Sound in ArmA 3, if I restart Arma 3, I will lose all my sound, and then I'll start getting continuos error in TeamSpeak, I tried getting support from Logitech, I tried to find fixes online, but no luck.

Adding, I've also used their Wheels and their Mouses, and whenever I had a problem, I either found no fix neither or received no support.

Logitech is not a serious company, and they are literally the worst when it comes to support, I reccomend buying SteelSeries, or even Genius stuff, if you can afford it, even Razer.

BUT DO NOT BUY LOGITECH, YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY.
