Pros: Cheap, based on 680 PCB, good overclocking, high factory overclock

Cons: Pretty loud, needs custom fan profile

Today I am doing a review of the Galaxy GTX 670 GC. There are two versions of the GC GTX 670 from Galaxy, but this one is based on the reference GTX 680 design. It is clocked to 1006core/6008mem straight from the factory.
This graphics card was benched on a Z68 platform with 8GB Ram and a i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHZ super stable with Corsair H80. Fan speed was set at 80% to ensure there was no thermal throttling.
First up, the overall Battlefield 3 performance (at factory clocks) averaged around 60-80FPS at the Ultra preset. (round played on Noshahr Canals TDM 24 player). Overclocked to 1265core/6825mem I got around 65-90FPS on the same settings (round played on Noshahr Canals TDM 24 player).
It scored P9534 on 3dMark, and the graphics score was 10191 at 1265core/6825mem. You can see it here:http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/4141255.

Now on to overclocking!
This card overclocks really well, which was quite a surprise! Below are the EVGA Precision X settings that I used to reach 1265core/6825mem.

Below is a good fan profile to use to avoid thermal throttling:

You may or may not reach these clocks, and Overclock.net and/or myself take no responsibility for possible problems/damages caused by Overclocking. Do it at your own risk.

Conclusion:
This is a fantastic card, in a way very similar to the EVGA GTX 670 FTW, with its 680 PCB, and it is clocked exactly the same. It is possible that the chips are binned in the same way as the EVGA chips. It also exhaust heat out the back, which can come in handy, especially for SLI setups.
The Galaxy GTX 670 GC (reference) presents great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it.
4.5/5.

Wish I could pick this card up, but it's sooo expensive.
I bought this from Amazon today for $338.99 + a free copy of Borderlands 2 )))))
Got my order in for two of these yesterday from the Egg at a "supah-fresh" $331.99 each after rebate (plus Borderlands 2 of course). Quite the deal.
Lol I was the one who posted that on Slickdeals xD.
Nice, in the AU of S we don't get Borderlands 2 with it.
I just bought this card for $350(plus tax) at Microcenter, it came with a coupon code for Borderlands 2. I was originally going to buy a 680 for $500 but this card literally gives the same performance with a simple overclock. I can afford a second card now and have a truley high end machine! Galaxy really out did themselves on this card. Buy it!
