GELID Solutions WING 14 UV Blue FN-FW14B-12 Case Fan
Description:
Bearing Type: Nanoflux Bearing (NFB) RPM: 1200 RPM Air Flow: 80 CFM / 135.92 CMH Noise Level: 26 dBA Power Connector: 3 Pin Color: Blue Compatibility: Case Dimensions: 140 x 140 x 25 mm
I have this fan set up as an exhaust fan for my HAF 932 and it is such an improvement over the stock LED fan that comes with the case. Aesthetically the fan is very appealing if you like blue. The blades are very nice looking and actually have a small lip on the very end to help push even more air. The black casing around the fan also compliments the entire unit and makes it stand out. The blades are also UV reactive which provides a very nice effect.
It is rated at 80 CFM but feels like it pushes eve more air than that. It lowered my overall case temp by about 3 degrees and is nearly silent at full speed. I cannot hear it spin up nor can I tell a difference in sound levels over the other fans. It has a self-lubricating mechanism which is nice so that the fan always spins fluidly. Dust and water proof only make it that much more appealing. With Gelid you always get what you pay for and this fan is worth every penny. I plan on getting 2 more, one for the bottom intake for my case and one to mount in the 5.25 bay.
Pros
Cons
Blue fan blades, sturdy construction, moves a ton of air, silent, fluid motion, self lubricating
Are these the same fans LINUS uses? I would love to try one of these... tried so many other "SILENT" fans but end up disappointed in the end.
