Pros: Overclocking, Quad Core, Cheap, Lasts Long
Cons: Temps, power usage, outdated
Quite simply amazing.
Bought this in 2007; still runs great, OC'ed to 3.3GHZ, used to do 3.4GHZ.
Kicks ass in alot of games still. Chip just feels awesome. Was a Champion at time of release, cheap.
Honestly, I am upgrading soon to a SB system most likely, because performance in some stuff is iffy...but I'll be sad to see this guy go. Probably use it a HTPC for a new TV I plan to buy.
Since the release of the C2D & C2Q, AMD has never been able to match them. The Q6600 shown here, beats some of AMD's latest offerings...this many years later. Shows how well it was made.
