Reliable

review by ldv617

Great CPU, Had 2 OC'd to 3.6-4.0 24/7 starting 3 years into lifetime at under 70 degrees full load on AIR. Bad air too (Arctic Freezer 7 Pro -- Junk). Both chips are alive and well, however one of the motherboards was killed during an overnight of Prime95 (I know stupid for what I did, not that big of a deal, learning experience. Now I IBT overnight). They were cheap motherboards, but unfortunately I have not gotten one of them replaced because it's an older socket and it was more convenient to upgrade and go to microcenter for an Ivy Bridge setup with a better board. Great chip, but needs a strong board for it. I plan on getting a nice board for it soon!

P.S. The other one is still running great. Probably better than the 3570k at stock.
