Quality BD drive for the lowest price possible when I purchased, reads everything I throw at it so far, software package functions to play CD, DVD, BD
review by ryan w
This drive was purchased form Newegg.com for 109.99. Installed smoothly in 3.5 in. bay, black gloss panel w/ chrome trim complimented CM 690 case very well. The drive reads/writes CD, DVD, DVD-DL, and reads BD without any issues. Light Scribe works without a hitch. Software package bundle is PowerDVD works well, updates common and available for BD play function to work on newer movies. Only CON is the noise level is louder than most drives I have had in the past.
Pros
Cons
black gloss w/ silver trim finish, vd'dvd read/write, BD read, lightscribe
Noise level is higher then most drives I have owned
