Pros: Dual input (Direct Input/XBox); Sturdy build; Wireless has good range; Battery life is awesome; Buttons are still crisp even after years of usage

Cons: Logitech could have used a unifying receiver with it

I bought the Logitech F710 as I felt some of my PC games were best played on a controller rather than a keyboard and/or mouse. Wireless was also a necessity as I usually play far from my PC. I must say, the controller does not disappoint. Upon purchase, it comes in a simple plastic packaging, with included AA batteries and the wireless receiver tucked inside the batter casing. This is a good design decision as it means you are less likely to lose the receiver if you're transporting the controller, or simply storing it away. The form factor is reminiscent of a PlayStation controller, with the D-Pad on the upper left and the two analog sticks at the bottom, but the button color scheme is...

Perfect for PlayStation gamers!

Pros: Familiar PlayStation 3 layout, comfortable, long battery life

Cons: Slight lag if not line-of-sight with receiver

I used to game on PS2, then switched to PC gaming. A lot of games (racing in particular) are very hard to play on keyboards, and this controller brought back my instincts. The familiar Playstation layout adds a few extra buttons in the center for Steam overlay, vibration, and sport mode (switches analog stick and D-pad). The buttons are in the A-B-X-Y config from the Xbox controller, but still have familiar functions. The dual-vibration adds a new level of depth to games that use it, and the controller itself is very comfortable to hold for hours on end.
