Pros: Many buttons, great shape, great drivers, great DPI, cloth cable

There are tons of features in this mouse. Weights, cloth cable, fast or clicky scroll, etc. I use to have a G5 which Logitech upgraded for free when I had issues with it. I love this mouse. It is great for palm grip but I don't see any reason why it would be bad for claw either.

The buttons are all programmable except for the scroll mode switch as it is mechanical. Even the DPI buttons can be remapped. This gives you lots of buttons and lots of flexibility.

I agree. I never thought anything could really replace the Logitech G9, but this one has risen to the challenge for me. If anything happens to this one, I won't hesitate to buy a G500 as the replacement.

Funny enough, I use to have a Logitech G5. The cord frayed a bit so I contacted Logitech expecting to have the cord replaced and pay for it. Instead they sent me the G500 free of charge. Great service and a great product.
