Nice claw grip mouse
Pros: Made for clawgrip, has a weight system, on the fly profile changing
Cons: none
Great for gaming 3200DPI is more than I ever need (usually use around 800-1200DPI), love the location of the on the fly profile changer (right behind the left click). Stores up to 5 profiles, completely customizable down to X/Y axis sensitivity. Capable of up to 1000 reports per second. Has a neat little LED to tell you which profile you're currently on that you can also change the color of (15+ colors). The scroll wheel can come in handy with long documents. Being able to "unlock" it and have it free spin is a pretty neat feature although, I rarely find myself actually using it.
Has a weight system in a hidden chamber beneath the interchangeable grip where you can add up to 28 grams of weights. Also comes with 2 "grips" as forementioned, a textured sleep grip for a "claw" grip play style and a more smooth raised grip for more of a hybrid "palm" grip style.
Logitech support is excellent. Although I bought this used, I emailed them to ask where to get replacement mouse feet. Upon providing the serial code, they shipped out replacement mouse feet for free, no questions asked.
People have noted that the rubberized gripping surface of the claw grip starts peeling after months of heavy use, but I have not experienced this personally (and I game alot). These people must be gripping their mouse pretty hard and rubbing their fingers around on it because I don't see how it would begin to peel otherwise.
Haven't had to clean the laser on it at all, my previous mouse the Razer Copperhead would always get throw off if even the tiniest bit of dust got on the laser lens. I've been using this for over a year now and still has the same amazing tracking as day one.
Overall, it's a fantastic product but unfortunately, the motherboard tray is NOT removable.
