Close to perfect for my needs.

Well, for $15 CAD, I get this keyboard that matches the colour of the rest of my system.
This keyboard features a row of keys on the top for media control and a dual purpose function keys in the second row. On the side, there are two more hot keys for opening document and picture folder, followed by two hot keys for magnifying.
There are also printing on the vertical side of the keys that's facing the user to indicate the usual shortcut keys functions, seems handy or thoughtful in a way.
Initially, I had a problem of getting the function keys to work like normal... after research, I've discovered that there is this "F Lock" key located on the right side of the function keys to get them working as normal function keys.
To get media keys working, remember to install the software that comes with the keyboard or download the latest online.
Two things I really dislike about this keyboard:
1. Small ESC and Function, PrtScn, ScrLk, and Pause keys.
2. The printing on the key of this keyboard is only surface deep, despite coated, they will get scratched and fade away over time.
There was no such potential problem with my last Logitech Internet Keyboard (that keyboard isn't black), the printing goes deep into the keys... embedded in a way. I can still see the printing on the keys clearly after 10 years of use. Awesome!!!
I guess most if not all products being made these days are not meant to last for more than a few years, 5 years is rare, never 10 years and more.

lots of keys with programmable commands and stylish black colour. | printing on keys is only surface deep, and the ESC and function keys are rather small. |
