Pros: very well priced, good quality, LED backlight, 6 Macro keys, 26 Key Rollover

Cons: Small wrist rest, dull LED's.

Introduction:

I bought this keyboard to replace my lycosa. It really made my day when it arrived.

Review:

I unpacked it, and just by the weight I knew it was made of quality. It has a nice feel to the keys, and a glossy finish around the outsides. The wrist rest has a kind of pattern on it, which feels nice. There are 6 macro keys, with 3 profiles giving you up to 18 macro settings. I've found them quite useful actually, I use them to open programs I use frequently (like my Music Playlist)

Now, the wrist rest is very small, so you wont actually really have your wrists on it, which to be honest doesn't really matter. The LED's are quite dull, but are defiantly good, and make typing in the dark easy. The only other problem I can think of, is that it doesn't have a stop button for the media keys, but it does have pause and play.

This keyboard says it has a 26 key rollover, meaning you can push 26 different keys and they should all work at the same time. Most keyboards only have 2 or 3 key rollover. I got 10 keys to work, and not anymore cause I only have 10 fingers!

Conclusion:

Overall I'm extremely pleased with this keyboard, and especially for the cheap price! I recommend it to everyone! smile.gif

is it mechanical?
Unfortunately no, but even for a rubber dome keyboard it is very comfy to type on!
well, I'm gonna be using it for gaming. I have a Corsair K60 right now but it isnt backlit and I dont want to shell out $130 USD or whatever for the K90 which is mechanical and backlit. And dont even get me started on the Razer keyboards
I personally wouldn't change from your K60, there is no real point just for the backlighting, the fact is that mechanical is superior in every way possible. And yes, I agree about Razer (see my recent Lycosa review!)
Yeah I saw that lol, I have heard they are hit and miss, The only Razer product I own is a Goliathus Extended Edition (which I like surprisingly) coming from a CM Storm Weapon of Choice AK-47 edition its much better than the CM Storm IMO
plus I don't know of another mouse pad of that size
Yea I love my Deathadder, but when it comes to keyboards, Razer just don't know what they're doing.
yep, although my friend loves his Black Widow Ultimate, don't know why But he hates his Tiamats and the mic blows on it. He uses a $20 zalman clipon mic and its way better sound quality that the Tiamats mic
The black widow is the only half decent keyboard from Razer, but it's still not comparable to the competition (CM Quick fire) for example.
yeah and dont forget about the new Corsair keyboards and I've heard the Gigabyte Avia's I think they are called are pretty good
